Spring is beginning to…well, spring!
The first couple of months of this year have been very busy! We are working on our schedule, creating awareness and fundraising events, and most importantly, continuing our work of seeing and tending to our patients each week! God is good and continues to bring people into our path so that we can not only see to their physical ailments but walk alongside and show love for their spiritual struggles as well.
Just like the grass and trees slowly creeping up out of the ground outside, at Living Well Clinic, we continue to grow as God leads, adding on services and programming that will fit the needs of our patients.

Board Member Highlight

Dr. W. Grant Starrett was born and raised in Xenia and currently resides in Clearcreek Township with his wife, Dr. Karen Starrett, and sons Alex and Drew. His daughter, Jessica, is in nursing school at Indiana Wesleyan University. Grant was drawn to medical missions early in life while following the exploits of Dr. Jim and Martha Hines, medical missionaries to the Central African Republic in the 1980’s. Grant went on to complete premedical training at Grace College, and was privileged to join Dr. Hines with a group of Grace College premedical students on a short term trip to the Central African Republic during his infectious disease training in 2001. Ten years and six trips later, he agreed to join the team preparing to open up the new free clinic in Greene County, Living Well Clinic. God used the Africa trips to stretch his faith and to focus his desire to use medicine as a ministry. The presence of the Living Well Clinic in his “backyard” provides an opportunity for him to demonstrate the love of Jesus by giving free medical care locally. Dr. Starrett volunteers at the clinic monthly and serves as the Living Well Clinic Board chairman.
