Hope and healing at Living Well!
At Living Well Clinic, our mission is to share the love of Christ through free health care for those in need. Here is one of our stories.
A patient we will call “Dale” is uninsured had felt ill for some time. He was scared to go to the ER due to cost and other barriers. Thanks to a friend telling Dale about LWC, we were able to offer spiritual counseling, an examination, diagnostic testing and referral service, all free of charge. This resulted in colon cancer being caught and fully treated before it was too late!! We were able to save him hundreds of thousands of dollars that his month long hospital stay would have cost him. We are so excited for Dale and future he now has thanks to the volunteers who serve and the individuals who give to make this ministry possible. During his time with us, Dale heard the gospel and was prayed for many times. Pray with us that Dale not only enjoys in his physical healing, but will soon come the ultimate Healer to enjoy the spiritual healing and hope that He brings!!
We are looking for a few more things for our silent auction!
Our BBQ Party event will help raise funds essential for continued operation of the clinic. A fun part of the evening will include a silent auction, which is where we hope that you will partner with us. We would be grateful if you would consider a donation of any item which could be auctioned off during the evening. If you choose to partner with us, you will receive recognition in the advertisements during the time leading up to the event and then also throughout the evening. No item, whether it be a good or service is too big or too small! If you wish to make a cash donation, please make checks payable to: Living Well Clinic.
If you are interested in making a donation, you may contact our executive director, Joshua Cernetic, at 937-372-7177 or directorlwc@gmail.com. We would be happy to pick up any donations, but ask that arrangements be made no later than May 15, 2019.
Thank you for your consideration, and thank you in advance for any donation that you may provide to help us continue on in our mission to care for those in need.
Board Member Highlight

Joshua Cernetic has been a resident of Greene County for most of his 40+ years. After starting out as a talented chef in his teens and 20s the Lord impressed on Josh the needs of people in his community. Following this leading he spent 10+ years in law enforcement and the fire service. Through this he learned leadership, built his heart for the poor and was an advocate of the disheartened and lost. But God changed this path once again with the birth of his son, Asher, in 2007. After Asher was born, he changed his focus to caring for his family and worked several different jobs that allowed him to be home with his son and family. When Living Well Clinic was first conceived by Dayton Avenue Baptist Church in 2015, Josh knew he wanted to be involved. With many years as an EMT and a heart for medical services, he joined the task force to create LWC and then the Board. After several years the Clinic found itself in need of an Executive Director and Josh applied for the job. Since then he has formed a faithful team of volunteers, kept the clinic under budget each year, headed up a remodel project on the new building in 2017, and has grown the services provided by clinic and built relationships with entities that serve along side of us, such as Cedarville School of Pharmacy and Reach Out Montgomery County. His heart remains for the needy in his community and in his free time he serves on several community groups, including being president of the Xenia Area Association of Christian Churches and Ministries. His favorite relationships though are his patients. When patients see Josh out and about in the community, he always has a hearty hug and word of encouragement for them. His heart is for hope and healing, not just physically, but spiritually.
