A Prescription for Praise!

Spring is here, and as usual, the Ohio weather didn’t seem to get the notice.  But here at Living Well Ministries, we are springing into action as we continue our work to those in our community.  God continues to bless as we follow His example and minister to those in need.

We are really excited to announce that we have received a special grant of $20,000 from CVS Health Foundation!!  We were one of only 25 clinics chosen nationwide to receive this grant and we are so thankful!  This grant will be used to purchase equipment for a diabetic and hypertension study during our clinic hours. We will also be offering educational classes and prescription assistance specifically during our Friday clinics.  If you know someone who can use assistance getting their diabetes or blood pressure under control, please refer them to our Friday Clinic. It doesn’t matter if they have insurance or not as the cost of services is being covered by the study.

We also are pleased to announce that we have hired a new part time Clinic Nursing Director, Sari Bright, NP-C.  Sari has a great heart for ministry and will be a big help to our Executive Director, Josh Cernetic, through her medical expertise.  Sari was already a part of our volunteer staff, so she was able to move into this position with ease.
